I would have to say this is the best inventor's fair in Florida. You deserve to visit either as an exhibitor or an attendee. They have very informative speakers going all day and 75 exhibit tables. It has been brought to our attention that there is a website called InventingDaily.com which is an outlet to market your developed invention. The basics are a $35 monthly fee and 5% of your sales. (look under terms and conditions) You provide the fulfillment. They also list the Edison Nation talent searches and have lists of trade shows all over the country. I believe that your email regarding the Edison Nation project is missing an important piece of information. They are not just seeking a "licensing agreement" with inventors. If you read the fine print you will discover that by submitting a product idea you are completely giving up the rights to your invention (Exhibit A, section 1A). The Wolrd of Inventors convention at Tampa Convention Center has been postponed indefinately. Apparently there has not been sufficient activity on their website to warrant scheduling the event. It has been explained to the organizer that they need to advertize in Inventor's Digest and provide more warning to our organizations to expect to be taken seriously. They have not given up yet. There are rumors afoot of an expo at the Tampa Convention Center April 9-10 2011. Invnetor booths are $285. The expected attendence is about 6000. It appears to be a real event but is in planning stages now. Today I talked to the organizer who assured me this will be a good show which combines Inventors, Investors, and franchises. We have been notified the Tampa Bay Inventors Council will be hosting an inventors fair at the same time as our next meeting. Last year the booth space was free. It is well worth it to show your inventions here as long as they are ready to be seen publically. It is a great way to polish your presentation and get some market studying done.
