There are rumors afoot of an expo at the Tampa Convention Center April 9-10 2011.  Invnetor booths are $285.  The expected attendence is about 6000.  It appears to be a real event but is in planning stages now.  Today I talked to the organizer who assured me this will be a good show which combines Inventors, Investors, and franchises.  This may just be the show to attend.  Their website is expected to be up in about a week.  I will keep you posted.  In the mean time here is their brochure....

On January 8th we had a good turnout with 17 in attendence.  We will be hosting an Inventor's Fair at the Orange County Library, Auguts 13th.  We will be adding a page to this site as we have more information.  Bob Jasper was not able to give his presentation on crowd funding due to illness.  John Smith - the inventor of Storm Stoppers , however, gave a great presentation on why not to patent your invention.  He has written the book on this subject and you can get it at www.dontfileapatent.co...

AmCon design and Contract Manufacturing Expo is returning to the Orange County Convention Center March 2 and 3.  Admission is free and signup is at their website.  This is a great place to find out how much it will cost to manufacture your invention.  There are also freee seminars where you can learn about the manufacturing process.
